The "Disease"
It was inevitable. It took over me quickly and silently. I had to be strong, but I couldn’t. It came in waves, first a few, then it became exponential. It took over everyone in the room and I as the only one left. It singled me out, I was the prey. I felt it all around me, flowing through everyone like the sun's rays through a cloud, spreading around faster and faster. It cornered me, it’s too late! I gasped for my last breath of controllable air as if I just erupted from the depths of ice cold water, searching for air, and cry out with laughter so hard my stomach started hurting.
