Medusa: The Interview

Written by: Amanda

I got the once in a lifetime opportunity to

interview, the one, the only..... MEDUSA!! So we sat down, and I asked her a couple questions.

Are you a good monster or bad monster?
“I don’t really consider myself either of them.”
Why are you bad?
“Because Athena cursed me after…”
After what?
“Nothing!”
Anyway, what do you eat?
“Snake food.”
What do your snakes eat?
“Leftovers.”
Of what?
“My, ah…friends.”
Anyway, do you have any fears?
“Losing my snakes!!”
Do you have any special powers?
“I turn people to stone when they annoy me. I usually feed them to my snakes, but you know…”
Are you dangerous?
“What do you think?! I have snakes for hair and eyes that will turn you to stone!”
So, ah, yes?
“Yes!!*hiss*”
If we were to kill you, how would we do it?
“Chop off my head with a sword. But that is not going to happen.”
Do you have any friends?
“No. Except my snakes.”
Where do you live?
“I live in a cave on the island of Cisthene.”
What colour is your hair?
“What hair?! I don’t have hair. But my snakes are green!”
Oh, yes, yes I forgot. Forgive me.
“You are forgiven. Can I go now?”
Yes, you can go. Thank you for taking the time to talk to me today.
“Yeah, whatever.”

So now you have the inside scoop on
Medusa. See you next time for another super scary monster!!!
