The Man on the Wall
There is a little man in all the classrooms and all our hearts.
He says “GRHGRGHGRHGRHGRHHGRH”.
He is smaller than the tiniest dwarf.
He grabs on to the wall with his screw-like hands.
He goes to work everyday except weekends, summers and holidays making less than minimum wage.
He needs help going to the bathroom so every other day the “giant” pops off his belly and throws his discards in the trashcan.
He can only move in one motion, cranking his arm in a circle around-and-around.
He’s as silver as chrome itself.
It’s a shame he’s only a pencil sharpener.
