Title: Timeless Afflictions
Left
Right
Up
Down
The simple thought of something at the end of a single sound.
Even that of a pin drop falling to the ground.
Drip.
Drop.
Pop! Goes the weasel..
No it's just my insanity pasted at the end of an easle.
Splashes of color,
Rolls of thunder.
Elegant strokes of wonder.
Thoughts begin to ride step by step through my mind.
Each step leading closer to a surrender like bind.
Each step winding closer to my ultimate blunder of what I might find;
And you're curious as to why I hide?
Who am I to say the next step don't make me blind?
I guess I'm falling behind.
Or maybe,
I'm just stuck in rewind.
I better find my way with the rest of mankind.
I'll double cross this heart if mine, and go against the fears crawling up my undefined spine.
I'll walk this line, however, i'm shaken as to what i may see at the end of this twisted and tangled twine
It's time I say,
"Play."
Public places and annoying faces.
People boasting about how they say that and how they say this.
Day by day.
Mindless talking.
Listless walking;
Constant Barking.
Motors roaring.
Smoke soaring.
Life to death.
Death to life.
Bodies breathing.
Bodies touching.
People laughing.
People dying.
Children starving.
I'm watching.
Stop.
This strange world has left me in a childlike, awestruck wonder; the taking of my breath.
My plunder.
My death.

"...If the Thames that ran beside them...recalled a night where the moon shone as brightly as a shilling on the same boy and girl... and thought to themselves, 'at last, the wheel comes full circle,' they kept their silence."
