Beautiful. I usually don't look at sculptures, but I'm glad I did :)

“Daisy” was married to a man named Andrew.  She thought they would love each other forever.  But when they had their second child, Andrew was never the same.  He accused her of cheating, and started to beat her. She just covers up her face with some make-up and goes on with her daily routine; she never tells a soul, not even her own family.  He beats her for three years. It wasn't until he beat her to death that her family found out. Andrew was released four years later!  His lawyer got him out early, and they said he was falsely accused.  He remarried and the cycle began again. Now that she is on the island, she has realized how blind and ignorant she was because she believed a man's words instead of following her beliefs. The scars on her face are permanent and no amount of make-up can ever cover them up. She is ashamed of the scars and refuses to open up her eyes, so instead these weird twisted and unnatural eyes have replaced her old ones and grown as her new eyes.
