A Wish On Wings
This is my pencil crayon drawing of one of my greatest childhood memories. Each summer when I was a kid, my family used to raise monarch butterflies from caterpillars. This is a drawing of a photo we took after one of them hatched, crawled onto our finger, and then flew onto a sunflower in our garden to let their wings dry off. We would make a wish after each one began their journey and flew away.
I drew this picture for my mom for Mother's Day, but I did not end up completing it until about a month afterwards.
