I Don't Understand

I don’t understand why racism still exists,
Or why politicians are so greedy.
I don’t understand why there’s hate.
I don’t understand why people eat ranch with their pizza,
Or why some people choose to not eat breakfast in the morning.
I don’t understand why chopsticks exist when there are spoons and forks.
But what I do understand is that everyone has a different belief,
I understand that nations need leaders to place order,
and that some people only want to have the best for themselves.
