Straight Line
She walked on a crooked line,
Unable to find her balance.
Waiting and hoping one day she would, but with each hour her hope grew smaller, until it somehow all disappeared.
She decided she was too tried of the pain and the hurt to go on.
So she waited for the train.
It came and she got on.
Never to return to the place she once had called home.
No one ever again saw the girl that walked on the crooked line.
The girl who once had never given up hope, realized there was no straight line.
