I Wish

I wish the skies were green,
and the grass were blue.
I wish I could help all
the hungry animals.
I wish the Tooth Fairy and
Santa Claus were real.
I wish life wasn’t
such a big mystery.
I wish the world
would just get along.
I wish a lot of things, but
I can only dream they come true.
