Truly

Today I wake up and put on a face

So no one can truly see me

I cover up the flaws, with the claws

Just scratching and scratching away

So no one can truly see me

I clear the slate, with a new face

So no one can truly see me

Sometimes it’s tough, making a fuss with the face no one sees

Covering, hiding, vanishing

So no one can truly see me

I have my flaws

I don’t need claws

I’ll just put on a face

So no one can truly see me

I hope everyone what everyone gets from this poem is that everyone puts on a face to hide who they are from people/society in order to seem cool or likable
