The End of Humans
I am part of a dying society
And I refuse to believe that
Where technology makes the world spin
And children no longer are outside
Tests are made to see our abilities
And reasoning drives us head first into something unknown.
Everything is categorized to the core
Even humans are judged by their race
Choices are fixed for us
Thinking skills are used to think in unison.
And even animals are stripped of the wild.
A desire of beauty drives us forward
‘Blemishes’ are covered
Only what is desired is seen
The truth is covered and hidden
To ‘protect’ the simple minds.
Standards are always changed
When limits are never met
This constant shift in life
There will be nothing left.
Unless something is reversed
Society will die.

I had originally wrote this for class, most of my class didn't understand it or took it in a way that was not meat. When I write, I want readers to know my true purpose, not make up something that sounds deep but holds no meaning. This was meant to open the eyes.
