My Two Little Cousins
My little cousin Jeddy was born on Valentine’s Day.
He was very adorable, what else can I say?
The first time I held him was quite great,
but not after he burped up what he just ate!
He would cry and scream when he didn’t get his way.
Thank goodness it wasn’t like this every day!
My little cousin Izzy was born near spring.
When I first saw her, it was like looking at a diamond ring.
She was a calm, peaceful child
and would melt my heart when she smiled.
With her big, brown eyes it was hard not to stare.
I always wanted to take her everywhere.
Sweet Jeddy is now a ferocious four.
His favorite thing seems to be slamming doors!
Beautiful Izzy is now the loveable age of one,
Crawling around with her is so much fun!
The faces Jeddy makes are good for a giggle,
When we play around, together we wiggle.
Izzy can really brighten everyone’s day,
Without her, time would be wasting away.
Izzy and Jeddy will go far in their lives,
They make me so proud, I know they will thrive.
Their mommies and daddies think so, too!
I wish nothing but the best for both of you!
